门徒就如此行，叫众人都坐下。
And they did so, and made them all sit down.
他父母回答说，他是我们的儿子，生来就瞎眼，这是我们知道的。
His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
所以法利赛人第二次叫了那从前瞎眼的人来，对他说，你该将荣耀归给神。我们知道这人是个罪人。
Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
耶稣说，你已经看见他，现在和你说话的就是他。
And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
亚拿尼亚回答说，主阿，我听见许多人说，这人怎样在耶路撒冷多多苦害你的圣徒。
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
扫罗和大马士革的门徒同住了些日子。就在各会堂里宣传耶稣，说他是神的儿子。
And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
但扫罗越发有能力，驳倒住大马士革的犹太人，证明耶稣是基督。
But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
凡住吕大和沙仑的人都看见了他，就归服主。
And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
也不是多次将自己献上，像那大祭司每年带着牛羊血进入圣所。（牛羊的血原文作不是自己的血）
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
其馀未曾被这灾所杀的人，仍旧不悔改自己手所作的，还是去拜鬼魔，和那些不能看，不能听，不能走，金，银，铜，木，石，的偶像。
And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
